Frequently asked
How does an employee sign in?
Employees don't use email or a password. Your employer creates your profile in the App and shares an 8-character sign-in code. Open the App, tap I'm an Employee, enter the code, and you're in. The App remembers the session, so you don't type the code again unless you sign out or switch devices.
I lost my phone. What happens to my sign-in code?
Ask your employer to tap Regenerate code on your profile. The old code stops working immediately, and any active session on the lost device is revoked within about an hour.
I forgot to clock out. Can I fix it?
Yes. On the My Entries screen, tap the entry and choose Request edit. Enter the correct time and (optionally) a reason. Your employer will get a notification and either approve or deny the request; you'll get a notification back either way. Approved edits update the entry directly, and the change is recorded.
Why aren't I getting reminders?
Reminders require two things: your employer must have enabled reminders on your profile, and push notifications must be allowed for the App on your device (iOS: Settings → Notifications → Clock In Business; Android: Settings → Apps → Clock In Business → Notifications).
My punch times look wrong. Is my phone's clock the problem?
No — all punch times are recorded by our server, not by your phone. If a time is genuinely wrong (for example, you forgot to punch), submit an edit request as described above.
How do I delete my account or my company's data?
See the dedicated Delete Your Account & Data page for step-by-step instructions. In short: email derou@me.com from the address on your account and we will delete everything within 14 days.
Can employees see other employees' data?
No. Employees can only see their own schedule, punches, requests, and messages. Only the employer sees the team-wide view.
